Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Dylan, I am a born and bred New Yorker and I’m the youngest in a loud and loving Irish family. Being the youngest, and smallest until I hit puberty, I constantly was fighting for my voice to be heard. When I was heard or paid any attention, I loved making my family members laugh and being the center of attention. This is where, most likely, my interests in acting and performing began.
Having been exposed to both film sets through my uncle who mixed sound for film and television along with going to see world class theatre productions, I knew I wanted to be an actor and knew that it was actually a career that you could have in New York. However, I didn’t study acting until after I graduated college. Since then, I have studied with Terry Knickerbocker at his studio in Brooklyn and graduated from his Two-Year Acting Conservatory and I started my own production company, UpStream Films, with my best friend and collaborator, Roger Turner, Jr.
I consider myself a cinephile so when I am not acting, I am still watching films at home or at a theater because I love it more than anything. Outside of cinema, when I am going out, it’s to see live theatre or comedy shows, or sporting events. I am trying to enjoy all that living in NYC has to offer, and I still have a ways to go. I hear the museums here are cool so I’ll get back to you on those. Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you have some laughs while you do!
